Problem of youth: Job Seeker

There is no surprise that the youth of today's world is lacking in opportunities and platforms to show and present their talent. This also implies in the area of jobs. The unemployment rate in India shot up from 6.5 per cent in March 2021 to 8 per cent in April 2021, resulting in the fall of the employment rate which in fact is no surprise.

The information was released by CMIE- Centre For Monitoring Indian Economy

The decline in India in the field of employment continuous which is a matter of concern for the people as well as for the government. The lockdown is one of the prime reasons because which industries shut down as a known result increasing unemployment across country

The unemployment in India stood at 6.1 % in the financial year 2018 mentions the NSS OF National Sample Survey Organisation Report 2019.

Job Seeker: An individual who is actively looking for job opportunities and has submitted an application to the employer.

Types of job seeker

1. Those who seek: actively searching for a job

2. Those who monitor: not actively searching but keeping their eyes on roles and opportunities

3. Those who are settled: not doing anything to look for a new job.

Entrepreneurship always comes with an element of risk which is already known to the existing world and unfortunately that is what the parents fear the most. But even with the 90% of the startups failing commercially, they entire process of becoming an entrepreneur that students who embarks on this journey early in life, end up with he latest industry skills, knowledge and experience, which makes them highly employable graduates. 

Although it is clear that talking about this problem is not going to give us ways. we have to take steps and find the solution ourselves.
